About Us

WHO WE ARE

The organization was founded by a community of young Africans from different backgrounds who are on a mission to inspire and empower each other to create a positive and prosperous future for our continent. We believe that by changing our mental attitude, we can achieve anything. We have a shared passion for promoting African culture, best practice and healing the planet.

Our Story

BGUN of Africa was founded in 2022. It has been set up, and is supported by a group of Africans predominantly of Zimbabwean heritage to pioneer Africa’s revival. Zimbabwe is our base for developing the model ahead of expansion to other countries in Africa.

OUR VISION

Our vision is for a community led by conscious and conscientious young African girls and boys aged 18 to 35, primarily, in Africa and the diaspora, to deliver our Africentric Youth Economy. This is a socio-economic structure that works for us, and that is relevant to the African culture and environment. It will be delivered using modern techniques and technologies, learning from best practices from the past, and from across the world. The idea is to do this in formal and informal partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, youth groups, and community groups.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to unite young Africans, in Africa and the diaspora, to create solutions for Africa, by Africans, for Africans. We are committed to the personal development of Africas youth, African culture and innovation-centred education that is designed to generate economic development. We believe that by bringing together Africans from all backgrounds, we can create a more just and equitable world for Africas youth. We call it our Africentric Youth Economy.
